Muhamad Aly Rifai, MD, CPE, FACP, FAPM, FAPA

Dr. Rifai has been practicing in the Greater Lehigh Valley for more than 20 years. Dr. Rifai is an American-Syrian physician. He obtained his medical training at the University of Virginia in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Rifai is a recipient of  a National Research Service Award to study neuroscienses, he worked at the presitigious National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesa Maryland as a clinical Staff fellow. Dr. Rifai has been board certified in Internal Medicne, Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine and Medical Management.

Dr. Rifai brings a wealth of clinical experience to his private practice, having served as a Medical Director for the psychiatric emergency services at Lehigh Valley Health Network, and a Chairman of Psychiatry at Blue Mountain Health System. He is a professor of Psychiatry and Medicine and the President of the Lehigh Valley Psychiatric Society . Dr. Rifai is married to Douha Sabouni, MD and has 3 boys.
